Home Staging Before and After

Need some home staging inspiration? Take a look at these home staging before and after pictures where we helped homeowners like you stage their home so they can sell it faster. Sometimes it takes just a bit of rearranging or maybe we need to add furniture. Sometimes home staging includes changing a wall color. In the end, it’s all about making your home more appealing to a wide variety of buyers.

Playroom into living room

This formal living room was anything but formal. We removed the toys and turned it back into an adult conversation area by reusing what the homeowner already had. Now you can see the beautiful fireplace and imagine reading in this space.

Cluttered Office

This office space was a bit too crowded for two people. So we removed the extra desk, clutter and showed off how you could really use this office. And we did this all, using items the homeowner already had in the house. Now you can have your Zoom calls in style and show off those awards you’ve collected over the years.

Vacant living room

The homeowner had no idea what type of furniture would work best in this small area. We brought in a loveseat and some comfy chairs and staged the bookcase to show off the beautiful scene outside.

Home Staging Before & After – Master bathroom

Before, this master bathroom had a lot of clutter and not inviting. After staging, the master bathroom looks clean and bright after removing the items off the counter and properly staging the space.

Dining room before and after

This cluttered dining room had too much furniture. We moved the bookcases to the living room and cleared off the table to show off the large dining room and beautiful credenza.

Dining room before it was staged. Very full bookcases line up along perimeter of room. Dishes overflowing on dining table and more clutter on the floor.

Brown dining room table staged with a tray and candles. One wall art hung at far end of room.

Dining room

Another dining room that collected a lot of clutter and too much artwork on the walls. We pared down everything and showed off the dining room to show off the open space for family dinners.

Home Staging Before & After -Living Room

This living room was well loved by the family but had too much clutter. We cleaned it up, changed the couch and oriented it a different way so we could add a chair. We accessorized with a new rug and cleaned up around the mantle.

Living room after staging. Beige couch facing fireplace, blue and white rug in front of fireplace. White cabinet with accessories on top and decluttered space.

Master Bedroom

This master bedroom did not feel like a master bedroom. Rather than repainting the room, I used the sage green color to my advantage and found artwork and bedding that coordinated with the room color. I added 2 side lamps and the room now feels like a master retreat.

Home Staging Before & After – Eat in Kitchen

This area off the kitchen was used as a workout room but when it came down to selling the home, I convinced the homeowners to transform it back into an eat in kitchen area. The exercise equipment was stored off site and the TV was removed. A small table and chairs, art and flowers were brought in to show how to use the space for potential buyers.

Master Bedroom

The homeowner was updating the master bedroom and had no furniture. Rental furniture was brought in and bedding was bought for the homeowner to make it feel like a master bedroom.

Home Staging Before & After –  Nursery

The second bedroom in this home only had a queen-sized bed which took up a lot of space. I recommended turning the room into a child’s room since families live in the area. The homeowner borrowed a crib and changing table and found some art to make this room into a nursery. The queen bed was put back into the master bedroom that only had a dresser.

The Kitchen

The wall color in this kitchen was too dark and red for the space. I recommended changing the wall color to a more neutral color. This new color helped open up the space and makes it feel bigger and brighter.

Beige painted walls in kitchen after staging. Black cabinets with beige counters.
Kids bedroom before staging. Beige walls with a twin bed on right side. Blankets and toys cluttered on bed and floor. Turquoise blue sheets on bed.

Home Staging Before & After – Kid’s Bedroom

This bedroom layout was  not working like a bedroom should. To stage the room, the bed was centered in the room between the windows and the dresser was positioned at the foot of the bed. The bookcase did double duty as a night stand and bookcase for bedtime stories.

Kids bedroom after stagged. Twin bed centered between 2 windows with white, green and pink floral motif coverlet. White dresser set at foot of bed with pink curtains.
