Frequently Asked Questions about the Home Staging Basics Online Course
How long will this online home staging course take me?
It depends on you and how much information you want to take in. Some videos are only 15-20 minutes long, while others are 30-45 minutes long. You could watch all of them in one day but I don’t recommend that. I recommend watching a video and then taking the steps you need to complete that room/task.
Do I need a special program or app to watch the online videos?
No you do not. These videos are pre-recorded so you need only Internet access to watch them. No special download is needed. I recommend watching it on a bigger screen such as a laptop or computer so you can see the pictures better. You can also watch them as many times as you want.
Can I download the videos?
No you cannot. Plus they are very large files so you would not want them to take up space on your computer! The links you receive are always available for the life of the program so you can go back anytime and rewatch the videos.
How long do I have access?
The videos will be available for the life of the program. I only ask that you do not share it with others.
Do I need experience with home staging?
No you do not. You just need to be willing to listen to ideas and be willing to implement them. Home staging is temporary and is meant to help you sell your home faster than if you didn’t do anything at all.
Do I need to buy any additional supplies for the course?
Good question! No you don’t. This course includes all the checklists, diagrams and workbooks you need to stage each room in the house. I share before and after pictures in each video so you know what the end result should look like. I also emphasize using what you already have at home to stage your home. Sometimes you may need to update your bedding or towels, but those are things you can bring with you to your next home.
Who is the teacher?
Kasia McDaniel, an Occupied Home Stager, is the teacher for the whole course and has been staging houses since 2013. She’s sold her own houses and has helped thousands of others get their houses ready to sell.
Are there any live calls?
No not in this course. It is only pre-recorded video training that you can watch at any time. We do offer calls in our Hands-On Home Staging Bundle or you can add a 30 minute 1:1 call with Kasia in the Special Bonus section above.
What happens after I buy?
You will get an email with instructions on how to watch the videos and download your checklists which will be all in a Google Document. Make sure to make a copy of the document so you have access to all that home staging goodness!
